Hot Springs National Park has one campground, Gulpa Gorge Campground. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and no sites may be reserved in advance.

Additional Camping Information
Gulpa Gorge Campground is located on Highway 70B, approximately 0.5 miles north of Highway 70 East. It is located on the east side of the park. All occupants of a private, noncommercial vehicle, and are collected through a self-registration system.There are no showers, electrical hookups or water hookups. The fee is $5.00 for Golden Age and Golden Access passport holders. These passports may be obtained by those eligible at the Hot Springs National Park Visitor Center in the former Fordyce Bathhouse in downtown Hot Springs. Camping limit is 14 days in a calendar year. Commercial and state park campgrounds in the Hot Springs area offer complete facilities.
Fires are permitted only in the campsite grill. No commercial wood is available within the park. Animals must be under physical restraint at all times. Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily.
Several hiking trails that connect with others in the park begin at Gulpha Gorge. Interpretive programs are presented at the campground amphitheater during the summer months; times and topics are posted on the bulletin boards.
Picnic tables on the Grand Promenade, Hot Springs Mountain, West Mountain, and at Gulpha Gorge offer a place to enjoy a meal outdoors.
The picnic area at Gulpha Gorge will be closed to all activity between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am daily to coincide with quiet hours in the adjacent campground. Picnicking activity within Gulpha Gorge campsites is prohibited unless registered for that specific campsite and the camping fee is paid. Picnicking throughout the park is permitted unless posted to prevent that activity.
Fires
Fires are permitted within the Gulpha Gorge Campground and at designated picnic sites only within fire grills provided, or at the group fire ring at the campground amphitheater. Self-contained portable stoves or grills may be used when off the ground and away from overhanging vegetation. Ground fires are prohibited throughout the park.
Dead wood laying on the ground and unattached to live trees may be used for fuel at Gulpha Gorge campground and at designated picnic sites, only in fire grills provided.
